Zimek’s Micro-Mist® Technology
Included in our approach is the use of Zimek’s Micro-Mist® Technology, the most effective Dry Vapour Decontamination (DVD) infection control system available. Throughout the process of vehicle and room decontamination and sterilisation, this system does not require the use of harmful chemicals and disinfectants used in other DVD systems such as hydrogen peroxide, chlorine or ozone based disinfectants.
Zimek’s Micro-Mist® is used extensively by both public health and blue light emergency services across the world. Through its use, these organisations have significantly reduced the risk of transfer of infectious diseases and enhanced their overall infectious disease control capability. Zimek is specified by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to eradicate dangerous and infectious bacteria, viruses, and toxic mould including MRSA (the 'Superbug'), Hepatitis C, the Norwalk Virus, and the Bird Flu.
PIC (Personal Infection Control) Pack system

PIC Pack system.
The PIC Pack system has been designed in conjunction with the Fire and Rescue Service and Ambulance Service, and includes for the provision of a personal palm sized pack of user-friendly personal cleaning products, supported by training and on-going advice on how to manage and minimise the risk of personal infection and infection transfer.
Maintaining personal hygiene is becoming increasingly vital in the development and control of the spread of infection. Common infections that can be developed and spread in the workplace setting include E Coli, Salmonella, fungal infections and every day cough and cold bugs. As part of an overall infection control system, Pick Pack provides a unique solution to help personnel mitigate these risks, whilst raising their awareness and understanding of accountabilities.

As an integral component in the fight against infection control Healthcare Infection Technology have selected Suprox©. Suprox is a biodegradable, non-hazardous, effective, safe and eco-friendly sporicidal steriliser able to perform effective cold disinfections in all areas.
Suprox© is non-toxic and has no side effects and is totally harmless to people and animals.
Suprox is available in 5 litre bulk containers, along with a range of handy sized wipes and sprays. Suprox is an effective decontamination and sterilisation system for wiping and sterilising surfaces and operational equipment between vehicle "deep clean" and room sterilisation events.
